The Cadmio platform enables users to create comprehensive 3D presentations directly on an iPad, with the capability to review and showcase these presentations on both iPad and iPhone devices. Developed as a tool for product design review, it leverages immersive materials and environmental settings to facilitate detailed visualization. Importantly, users are not required to have prior experience with modeling applications, as the platform allows interactive inspection of shared designs in three dimensions. This functionality promotes more effective ideation processes and enhanced feedback during design reviews.
The Cadmio Viewer app can be downloaded freely, providing access to all core features, including:
- Rendering quality comparable to that of the full Cadmio iPad application.
- A compact proprietary file format optimized for easy sharing and local storage.
- High-fidelity material representations and immersive environment presets.
- A presentation mode with a streamlined user interface—users can switch between environments via a dedicated button, access predefined camera views, and capture screenshots.
- Support for projected decal rendering and augmented reality (AR) viewing experiences.
Viewing .cadmio files is completely free; however, editing capabilities require additional software download via the App Store at this link.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
It is recommended to use devices equipped with at least 4 GB of RAM. Devices with less memory (such as iPhone SE 2020 or iPhone XR) may experience disabled environments or reduced functionality. The Cadmio Viewer supports the proprietary .cadmio file format for importing and viewing presentations.
